An example of courage: dervishes lead the way

Mohammad Nourizad is an Iranian filmmaker who was sentenced to three years in prison because he wrote a letter to Ayatollah Khamenei, in which he asked him to apologize to the people for the bloody crackdowns during the protests of 2009.
Recently he wrote a letter to the former president and reformer Khatami. In this letter, he calls Khatami to follow the example of the dervishes and to go in front of Evin prison to demand his arrest to protest effectively against the imprisonment and house arrest of many opposition figures.
Last week, about 3,000 dervishes marched  in front of Evin prison and demanded the release from prison of their Dervish brothers. They claimed "Arrest us too, for without our brothers we don’t want to be in freedom!"
